The Shepherd’s Hut is perfectly positioned in a peaceful, secluded area of our camping site to provide you and someone you love with a private space to relax. Whether you’ve planned daily adventures in the Eryri (Snowdonia) landscape, or wish to get cosy around the fire with blankets and snacks, our glamping facilities are equipped with everything you need to keep toasty, clean and comfortable.

Nestled in the cabin-style interior is a double bed that sleeps two people, a wood burning stove and a WC, and on the exterior is a decking area complete with a fire pit and bbq for nights spent gazing at the stars. Towels are also provided to save you packing space in your vehicle. 


Please note that the Shepherd’s Hut does not accommodate pets.

  • What glamping accommodation do you offer?

    We have a Shepherd's Hut, a beautifully appointed cabin-style retreat, perfectly positioned in a peaceful, secluded area of the park. It's ideal for a romantic escape or a cosy break for two, with easy access to the stunning Eryri (Snowdonia) landscape on your doorstep.

  • How many guests does the Shepherd's Hut sleep?

    The Shepherd's Hut sleeps two people in a double bed.

  • What is included inside the Shepherd's Hut?

    The hut is fully equipped so you can arrive and relax straight away. Inside you'll find a double bed with linens, a wood burning stove, toilet, sink, single gas stove, table and chairs, crockery, cutlery, and all water, gas and electricity. Towels are also provided to save you packing space.

  • Is there outdoor space?

    Yes, the Shepherd's Hut has its own private decking area complete with a fire pit and BBQ, perfect for evenings spent under the stars. A basket of firewood is provided and additional wood can also be purchased at reception.

  • Does the Shepherd's Hut have a private bathroom?

    The hut has its own toilet and sink. For showering, guests have full use of the park's toilet and shower blocks, including our accessible wet room.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times for the Shepherd's Hut?

    Check-in for the Shepherd's Hut is between 1:00pm and 8:00pm, and check-out is by 11:00am on your day of departure. One of our friendly team will be on hand to welcome you and show you around when you arrive.

  • How do I book the Shepherd's Hut?

    You can book online via our Book Now page, or contact us directly by phone on 01248 671 114 or by email at info@wales-camping.co.uk. We recommend booking early as it is our most popular accommodation.

  • Are pets allowed in the Shepherd's Hut?

    We're sorry, the Shepherd's Hut does not accommodate pets. If you're travelling with a dog, please take a look at our Camping & Touring pitches, where well-behaved dogs are very welcome.

  • Can I use the park facilities during my glamping stay?

    Yes, all park facilities are available to Shepherd's Hut guests, including the shower blocks, laundry room, games barn, dog exercising area, and free Wi-Fi throughout the park.

Arrivals

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by one of our friendly team who will direct you to the Shepherd’s Hut and answer any questions about the site. 

We ask that you check in between 1pm and 8pm and check out before 11am on your day of departure.
